He has a regular column in the Mind and Body section of the West Australian Newspaper and Medical Observer as well as being on the advisory panel of Prevention Magazine. He has regular slots on the morning program and Nightline on 6PR, and is Medical spokesperson for Virtual Medical Centre. Dr Joe is a guest presenter on Today Tonight on Channel 7. He has written for numerous medical and mainstream publications and is regularly sought for comment by the electronic and print media. He is medical advisor to the Universal Health Network and International Medical Director of The Weekly Fitness Challenge.
Dr Joe gives motivational and practical health talks for the general public and corporations on how to look and feel better.
Previously Dr Joe held senior positions in the Australian Medical Association and sat on numerous industry and government boards. He has extensive corporate experience in the setting up and management of medical centres and in helping businesses maintain a healthy workforce.
TRILLIA NEWBELL – USA State Representative for Tennessee
Trillia is a wife, mom, fitness professional and writer. She has been teaching group fitness collectively for seven years and in the fitness industry for over eight. She holds many certifications and helps train and certify aspiring fitness professionals as a Les Mills BODYPUMP® Assessor and AFAA Examiner and Presenter (in training). She writes freelance and contributes to several publications including “The Knoxville News-Sentinel”, “American Fitness Magazine”, Livestrong.com and many local magazines. She owned her own fitness studio and now continues to run an online fitness consulting business. Trillia is excited to continue to grow and learn and will begin her Masters studies in Kinesiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the fall of 2012. Her greatest love besides God is her family. She is happily married to her best friend and love, Thern, and has two children.
JERRY MCGOWAN – Professional Development Board Member
Jerry McGowan has been an entrepreneur since graduating college back in 1971. After many successful career changes, he moved to Montana with his wife Beverly, and began a historical restoration business. After 8 years he decided to change directions once again and teamed up with his business partner to create Flexsolate, LLc, where they brought to market their new technology of grip-free exercise and fitness. Their Gym IN A Bag tm. Product has been recognized as one of the most effective forms of exercise equipment on the market today. Jerry is a writer of both music and literature and love the outdoors. Living in Montana has made outdoor life more accessible as he continues to enjoy nature at its best. As one of The Weekly Fitness Challenge team, he is committed to a :Good health for everyone” approach to the challenge, especially for those who are not in the best of shape.
MICHAEL HOLTZ – International Director of Cancer Education

Michael is the Media Advocacy Director with substantial experience directing and giving counsel for using media in achieving overall campaign goals.
